INAUGURATION OF JET & YOGINI SHUBH VEER SAMADHI SHRINE – NOVEMBER 4, 2022

THE INAUGURATION OF

JET & YOGINI SHUBH VEER SAMADHI SHRINE

WAS HELD ON THE AUSPICIOUS OCCASION OF JET’S BIRTHDAY

NOVEMBER 4, 2022.

It was on the 4th day of November, 1984 that the world got the privilege of welcoming an incarnation of Devi Shakti in the form of our dearest pet, JET.

A few months later, on the most auspicious day of the year, the 21st of December, 1984, Jet reached the Lord Veer Siddha Ashram.

On the auspicious birth anniversary of our dear Jet we held the inauguration of the most unique Samadhi Shrine the world has ever witnessed: A shrine which holds the intact bodies of two incorruptible saints, one in human form, the other in animal garb.

This shrine symbolizes the unity of every soul in the universe. All Souls, whatever be their external covering, are part of the same Universal Absolute!

Jet, in animal form, passed away 28 years ago, on February 4, 1994. She was removed from her grave after more than 5 months, on July 9, 1994. She was found to be still intact. She stayed intact all these 28 years, waiting for her eternal companion, Yogini Shubh Veer, complete her earthly mission, to finally unite and depart together on their final journey to their Absolute God.

This is indeed a story of one soul in two bodies; the indissoluble love of two saintly beings, in whatever form they came to the world on their heavenly mission.

SIGNIFICANCE OF JET AND YOGINIJI

These miracles symbolize the unity of each and every soul in the universe. All Souls, whatever be their external covering, are part of the same Universal Absolute.

Jet, in animal form, passed away 28 years ago, on February 4, 1994. She was removed from her grave after more than 5 months, on July 9, 1994. She was found to be still intact.

JET REMOVED INTACT AFTER BURIAL 5 MONTHS BEFORE. JULY 9, 1994

She stayed intact for all these 28 years, waiting for her eternal companion complete her earthly mission, to unite and depart together on their final journey to their Absolute God.

On the 8th of august, the Guru of Lord Veer Siddha Ashram Yogini Shubh Veer left her physical body. She was placed on a simple bed, in normal room conditions, without any means of preservation, coolant or otherwise. Her body did not show any signs of decay, any odor etc. until burial on the next new moon day, 27th august. She had been lying intact for the 20 days after passing away. Three medical doctors certified this unique occurrence.

The Ministry of Health, after carrying out an independent investigation, gave special permission for Yoginiji’s body to be buried in the ashram premises. Yogini Shubh Veer was buried together with her pet Jet, at the very spot from where Jet had been removed 28 years before.

This is indeed a story of one soul in two bodies; the Indissoluble Love of two saintly beings, in whatever form they came to the world on their heavenly mission.

INCORRUPTIBILITY

The phenomenon of incorruptibility, as yet unexplained by the normal laws of nature, is considered in all religions as signs of ‘Divine Intervention’. To have such an event occurring in a country like Mauritius is indeed something extraordinary.

We have heard of ‘miracles’ happening in big countries of billions of inhabitants, like India etc. In Mauritius we have a tiny population of less than 1.3 million. We should understand our extreme privilege and luck to be witness of such a miracle in this tiny island lost in the vastness of the Indian Ocean.  We are now having a ‘Mahasamadhi Shrine’ of two incorruptible bodies, Jet and Yogini Shubh Veer, one human and one non-human. This is indeed unique in the history of the world.

The Lord Veer Siddha Ashram has made the area around the shrine open to the general public who will have direct access from the road.

A simple ceremony was held at around 17.00 hrs at the ashram.

The secretary of the Lord Veer Siddha Ashram explained in brief the circumstances of the miraculous event which had taken place at the ashram.

EXPLANATIONS BY SECRETARY

We had the pleasure of welcoming the elected members of our constituency. Hon Kavi Ramano and Hon Tania Diolle were present.

Hon Dr Arvind Boolell and Hon Xavier Duval sent their apologies, being taken up elsewhere on prior commitments. Hon Alan Ganoo excused himself because of last minute emergencies.

VIEW OF THE AUDIENCE

Mauritius is somewhat like a microcosm of the whole world.  We have deservedly got the reputation of a ‘rainbow nation’, a melting pot of all the different cultures and religions of the world living peacefully side by side, with mutual respect for each other’s traditions and ways of life. Guests from all the different sections of the Mauritian community were present at the inauguration. They all had been in some way or other close to the members of the ashram.

The Council of Religions was represented by one of its members, a spiritual figure belonging to the Greek Orthodox Church.

After the inauguration ceremony, guests were shown the place where Yoginiji had been lying during the miraculous event.

A life size poster of Yoginiji and Jet was exposed in the temple. This is now kept inside the ashram next to the place where Yoginiji had performed her miracle.

The aquarium where Jet had been kept was also visited. Now that Jet has been placed with Yoginiji in the shrine, exact pictures of the aquarium have been put on the glass walls of the latter. It gives the impression that Jet is still around as she had been these past 28 years.

JET – AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR EXISTENCE

Jet had become part of our life these past 28 years. morning, day and night we would be graced by her ‘darshan’ ( beholding of a sacred being and receiving blessings).

We had never imagined we would ever be bereft of her presence. But fate had deemed otherwise! Jet had to leave us and accompany her eternal companion, Yoginiji on their final journey to the Eternal Absolute.

But we would refuse to be outwitted! We prepared a facsimile of the site with life size photos. To our satisfaction, we have managed to preserve the spirit of the place and feel the eternal presence of Dear Jet in an exact setting, just as she had been these past decades.

WE HAVE ALSO RECREATED THE EXACT SCENE OF YOGINIJI AS SHE WAS DURING THE 20 DAYS OF HER MIRACLE.
